How much does sending a broadcast cost
How broadcast sending is billed in Omnifox: not per individual message, but within your plan's included usage.
A common question before launching a big campaign is how much it will cost. In Omnifox, you don't pay a per-message price for a broadcast: sending is covered by the usage limits already included in your subscription plan.
How the cost works
Your plan sets three usage ceilings tied to Broadcasts:
- Broadcasts per month: how many campaigns you can create in a month.
- Recipients per send: the maximum number of contacts a single campaign can reach.
- Cumulative recipients per month: the total number of contacts reached across all your broadcasts in the month.
As long as you stay within those three ceilings, sending a broadcast (to 50 or to 5,000 contacts) doesn't generate an extra per-message charge — it's part of what you already pay for with your plan.
On top of that, overall platform usage is measured in monthly active contacts (MAC) — the volume of contacts your account interacts with during the billing period, which includes what your broadcasts send to. If your operation grows beyond the active contacts included in your plan, that's covered by additional contact blocks, not by a per-message charge.
WhatsApp broadcasts
WhatsApp broadcasts use Meta-approved templates. Meta charges per conversation based on the template's category (marketing, utility, etc.) according to its own pricing policy; that's a Meta-level cost on your connected channel, separate from your Omnifox plan.
Example
Your plan includes 10 broadcasts per month and 5,000 cumulative recipients per month. You launch an email campaign to 1,200 contacts on Monday and a WhatsApp campaign to 800 contacts on Thursday: you've used 2 of your 10 broadcasts and 2,000 of your 5,000 monthly recipients, with no extra charge from Omnifox.
Tips
- Check your current ceilings and this month's usage under Settings → Billing.
- If you're routinely going over the monthly recipient ceiling, consider upgrading your plan instead of splitting the campaign into multiple sends.
Troubleshooting
- I can't create the broadcast and I see a message about the plan limit: you've hit one of the three ceilings (broadcasts/month, recipients per send, or cumulative recipients/month); check the error message to see which one, then wait for the next cycle or upgrade your plan.
- My WhatsApp broadcast paused partway through: this can happen if the monthly ceiling is reached while the campaign is still sending; the remaining recipients stay marked as not sent until the next cycle or a plan upgrade.
