Assigning and filtering by account owner
The account owner is assigned on the Company or the Deal and shows up on every linked contact — then you filter by it from the Pipeline and CRM Reports.
The owner is the team member responsible for an account. In Omnifox it's assigned at the Company and Deal level, and that value shows up on the 360 profile of every linked contact, so anyone opening the record instantly knows who owns the relationship.
Requirements
- Access to the CRM module (Pipeline / Reports)
- Being a workspace member to be selectable as an owner
Assigning an owner
- On a Deal, open it from the Pipeline and pick the responsible rep in the Owner field.
- To reassign several deals at once: select multiple cards in the Pipeline, click Reassign in the bulk action bar, and pick a team member (or Unassign to leave it open).
- On a Company, Owner is stored on the account record, right alongside industry or website.
Where it shows up on the contact
Open the contact's 360 profile: the Owner field shows who's in charge of that account (inherited from the linked company or deal).
Filtering by owner
- In the Pipeline, turn on the Mine only filter to see just your own deals.
- In Reports, group or filter by rep to compare each owner's performance (open deals, wins, time to close).
Example
A new rep joins the team. You select the 5 deals you're handing over in the Pipeline, click Reassign, pick their name, and from then on those deals show up under Mine only when they log in.
Tips
- Assign an owner the moment a deal is created — it sharpens tracking and Reports metrics.
- Unassign is handy for parking deals with no owner yet in a shared pool.
Troubleshooting
If Reassign isn't showing up, check your Pipeline permissions; if a contact shows no owner, it simply isn't linked to any company or deal that has one set.
