Install Omnifox as an App (PWA) on Desktop and Mobile

Add Omnifox to your desktop or home screen to open it like a native app, no browser tabs required.

Jul 11, 2026

Omnifox is a Progressive Web App (PWA): you can install it just like a native desktop or mobile app, with its own icon, a standalone window, and a faster launch — without losing any functionality.

Requirements

  • An up-to-date modern browser: Chrome or Edge on Windows/Mac/Linux, Chrome on Android, Safari on iOS.
  • You must have logged into your Omnifox account at least once.
  • An internet connection for the initial install (it behaves the same as the web version afterward).

Steps on desktop (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Log into your account at app.omnifox.io (or your workspace's domain).
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (a small screen with a down arrow, to the right of the URL).
  3. Click Install Omnifox and confirm.
  4. The app opens in its own window and gets pinned to your desktop or taskbar.

Steps on Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Omnifox in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu → Add to Home screen (or wait for the automatic "Install app" prompt).
  3. Confirm the name and tap Install.

Steps on iOS (Safari)

  1. Open Omnifox in Safari (this doesn't work from Chrome on iOS).
  2. Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen and confirm.

Example

An agent who works in Omnifox all day installs the app on their laptop: now they open it with one click from the dock, no browser tabs in the way, and new-message notifications arrive just like with any other installed app.

Tips

  • You can have the installed app and the web version open at the same time — they share the same session.
  • The icon you'll see is the Omnifox logo, and the short name shown is "Omnifox".

Troubleshooting

  • If the install icon doesn't appear in Chrome/Edge: update the browser to the latest version and reload the page.
  • On iOS, if you don't see "Add to Home Screen": make sure you're using Safari, not another browser.
  • If the installed app doesn't load: close it, check your connection, and reopen it — your session stays active.
