Turning On Dark Mode and Customizing Your Appearance

Choose between light, dark, or automatic theme based on your operating system, right from your profile.

Jul 11, 2026

Omnifox adapts to whatever lighting you're working in. From your profile, you can pick a fixed theme or let it automatically follow your computer's or phone's setting.

Where to find it

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  2. Choose Profile from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down to the Theme section, under Preferences.

Available options

  • Light: white background, ideal for well-lit environments.
  • Dark: dark background, easier on the eyes in low light.
  • System: automatically follows your operating system or browser preference; if your device switches to dark at night, Omnifox switches with it.

How to change it

  1. In the Theme section of your Profile, click the option you want (Light, Dark, or System).
  2. The change applies instantly, no page reload needed.
  3. Your choice is saved to your account — it shows up the same way next time you log in, on any device.

Example

You work the night shift handling support chats and the white background strains your eyes: you go to Profile, pick Dark, and the whole interface — inbox, CRM, reports — switches to dark mode instantly.

Tips

  • If you'd rather have Omnifox match the rest of your apps, use System instead of manually locking in Light or Dark.
  • Theme is a per-user preference, not a workspace-wide one: each agent can pick their own without affecting anyone else.

Troubleshooting

If you picked System and don't see the expected change, check your operating system's or browser's appearance settings (not Omnifox's). If the theme doesn't stick after a reload, make sure you're not in a private/incognito window, which may not save the preference.
