Leave an organization or request removal

Request to leave one organization you belong to, without deleting your Omnifox account entirely.

Jul 11, 2026

What it is

If your Omnifox account belongs to more than one organization — say, you support two different clients — you can request to leave one specific organization without deleting your account or losing access to the others. The request stays pending until that organization's owner reviews it.

Requirements

  • Belong to more than one organization (or to the organization you want to leave).
  • No special role needed — any member can request to leave.

Steps

  1. Go to your Profile.
  2. Find the My organizations section, which lists every organization you belong to.
  3. Next to the organization you want to leave, click Leave organization.
  4. Optionally, add a short reason.
  5. Click Submit request. The organization's owner will receive it for approval.

Configuration

  • The request sits in pending status until the organization's Owner reviews it.
  • You can cancel your own request at any time while it's still pending, from the same Profile section.
  • The reason field is optional but helps the Owner understand the context.

Example

You're an agent on two different organizations — one internal, one for a client you no longer support. You go to Profile > My organizations, find the client's entry, click "Leave organization," type "No longer supporting this client" as the reason, and submit.

Tips

  • If you need to leave urgently and the Owner is slow to approve, reach out to them directly to speed up the review.
  • Leaving an organization doesn't delete your Omnifox account or affect your access to other organizations you belong to.

Troubleshooting

  • My request is still pending: only that organization's Owner can approve it — contact them directly if you need it processed quickly.
  • I changed my mind about leaving: go to your Profile, find the request under pending requests, and click cancel — as long as it hasn't been processed yet.
