The Mentions & Activity inbox in Team
See in one place who mentioned you or reacted to your messages across Team, with a one-tap jump to each message.
The Mentions & Activity inbox (🔔) in Team collects every time someone mentions you with @ or reacts with an emoji to one of your messages, in one place — no more hunting through every Space and Direct Message to find where you were tagged.
Where to find it
In the Team sidebar, above the Direct Messages list (next to "Threads"), you'll see Mentions & Activity with a red count badge whenever you have unread activity.
What each row shows
- Who mentioned or reacted to you (name and avatar).
- Whether it was a mention ("Name mentioned you") or a reaction ("Name reacted with 👍").
- A preview of the message and which Space or Direct Message it happened in.
- When it happened (relative time) and whether you've already seen it (blue dot = unread).
Steps to use it
- Tap Mentions & Activity in the sidebar.
- Scroll the list; unread items have a highlighted background and a blue dot.
- Tap any row to jump straight to the message: the matching Space, Direct Message or thread opens and the message flash-highlights briefly.
- Tap Mark all as read to clear the unread count in one go.
- If there are more than 20 items, use Load more at the bottom of the list.
Example
An agent gets mentioned with @maria in three different Spaces while on a call. When she's back, she opens Mentions & Activity, sees all three mentions sorted by time, taps the most urgent one to jump straight into that conversation, then marks the rest as read.
Tips
- Opening a message from the inbox marks it as read automatically — no extra step needed.
- The sidebar badge only updates once items are marked as read.
Troubleshooting
- A mention I got isn't showing up: make sure you were tagged with the exact
@your-namehandle (being named in plain text doesn't count) or that the reaction landed on a message you sent, not someone else's. - The badge won't go to zero: tap Mark all as read; if it still won't clear, reload the Team page.
