Trigger: Template Approved

The Template Approved trigger fires when Meta approves a WhatsApp message template you submitted for review from your channel.

When to use it

Meta approvals can take minutes or hours and arrive without warning. This trigger saves you from manually checking status in Meta Business Manager and lets you launch the campaign automatically the moment the template becomes available.

Configuration

In the Trigger node pick "Template Approved" and filter by:

• Specific channel
• Template category (AUTHENTICATION / MARKETING / UTILITY; empty = any)

Available variables

• $template.id
• $template.name
• $template.language
• $template.category

Example

Workflow "Template ready alert": Trigger = Template Approved, filter Category = MARKETING. Action: post a message to the "Marketing" Space in Team with Template {{$template.name}} ({{$template.language}}) was just approved, the campaign can launch.

Tips

• Combine this trigger with an action that automatically creates a board task for whoever is responsible for launching the campaign.
• If you work with multiple language versions of the same template, check $template.language so you don't launch the campaign until every variant is approved.

Troubleshooting

If the workflow doesn't fire, confirm the template was submitted for approval from the same channel configured in the filter, and remember Meta — not Omnifox — controls how long the review takes.
