Advance notice of price changes and what happens to your subscription
How and when we notify you if your plan's price changes, and the effect it has on your current subscription.
When Omnifox updates a plan's price, customers already on that plan aren't affected overnight — there's a mandatory advance notice before the new price applies.
How the notice works
- If your plan's price is going up, you'll get an email (and an in-app notification) 30 days in advance, showing the current price, the new price, and the exact date it takes effect.
- Until that date, nothing changes: you keep paying the current price as usual.
- The new price only kicks in at your next renewal on or after the stated date — never retroactively.
- If a plan's price is going down, the change applies automatically at your next renewal, with no advance notice needed (since it benefits you).
Exceptions
Some accounts with special terms or a locked-in rate (for example, legacy agreements) are excluded from price increases and keep paying their original rate.
What you can do
- Review the email or notification with the change details.
- If you want to compare alternatives, go to Settings → Billing → Plan tab to check other plans or billing cycles (monthly/yearly).
- If you decide to switch plans or cancel, you can do so at any time before the new price takes effect.
Example
On June 10 you're notified that your monthly Crece plan is moving from $20 to $25. The notice states the change takes effect on July 10. Until that renewal you keep paying $20; from July 10 onward your renewal is charged at $25.
Troubleshooting
If you don't agree with the new price, you have until the effective date to switch plans or cancel before you're ever charged the new amount.
